This is a brand new, never used free standing cat scratching post. The carpet scratching surface is securely fastened onto a wooden post that is securely screwed onto a 1/2" thick x 9 1/2" square base. The base is made of particle board and the post is real wood wrapped in good quality Berber carpeting. This scratching post is movable as you can place it anywhere you want your cat to scratch. It is 21" high x 11" circumference. The scratching post has a clown's head attached to a spring which moves to all directions when touched to further amuse your cat!
